This month marks the 10-year anniversary of the passage of the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act of 2013. This was one of former Conservative Party Leader and Prime Minister David Cameron's proudest achievements in Government and was a milestone for LGBT+ rights in the UK. The UK was one of the earliest countries in the world to legalise marriage for same sex couples. Soon after, many countries followed suit such as Germany, Australia and Finland to name just a few. To celebrate, we invite you to join us at a very special event.
The event will be raising money to support the LGBT+ Conservatives' Candidates' Fund. This fund has supported many patrons and candidates over the years and will be used as the party builds its war chest for the next General Election. Every penny raised will go to support an LGBT+ candidate.
Join us on Monday the 24th of July from 6pm to 8pm for an evening of celebration, pride and Conservative politics. Central London location to be emailed to all confirmed attendees 24-hours in advance (A short walk from several Zone 1 tube stations).
We will be joined by a very special guest, alongside some of the our Conservative parliamentary patrons and colleagues who have benefited from the fund' support over the years. We will also use this event to launch our new donor's club.
This event will be open strictly to ticket holders only. You will need to bring confirmation of your ticket purchase to gain entry.
NB: This is a standing reception, with very limited seating. Please contact us if you have access requirements by emailing [email protected].
