HELP NEEDED
We have a stand in the main exhibition hall where people come to ask about the group, grab a leaflet or some freebies, so we are asking any members who are happy to sign up for an hour or two, to let us know their availability on the below form.
For security reasons, you must already have a conference pass and be a member of LGBT+ Conservatives.
Everyone who helps out will be given a t-shirt to wear, a free badge and priority entry to our closing party. It's also a great opportunity to get more involved with the group. Ross helped out last conference which was his first time with the group, and now he's Deputy Chair!

EVENTS
CURRY WITH CURRIE
2nd October - 7pm - St James' Club
Tickets include a starter, a variety of curries, entertainment and either wine or beer on arrival for £40pp.
This is a members only event, with all profits going to support the Candidates Fund!
Arrival 7pm
Location - St James' Club, 45 Spring Gardens, Manchester (10 minute walk from conference).

PRIDE & POLITICS
5th October - 15:30-17:00 - Lancaster Suite
In June 2022 our Conservative Government will host the first ever Global LGBT+ Rights conference, called: Safe To Be Me.
Pride and Politics, is convening a panel of experts, campaigners, and grassroots party members, to ask ‘What are Conservative priorities for Global LGBT+ Rights?’, focusing on three areas: decriminalisation of being LGBT+, tackling violence and discrimination, and improving access to public services around the world.
The event will also be an opportunity to gather party members and attendees’ views on how we can make the world a safer place to be LGBT+.

Want to be more involved?
Do you have social media skills, or experience working in policy?
We want to hear from you!
We have launched LGBT+ Conservatives Volunteers group, this is a facebook group in which we will post opportunities to help out. Tasks such as help securing speakers for events, participating in policy focus groups, social media projects, and more will all be posted in the group on an adhoc basis.

Any paid-up LGBT+ Conservative member is welcome to join the group, then it’s up to you to put yourself forward for whatever projects you think suit you. MENTORING
LGBT+ Leaders
Do you have a mentor? If so, you will know mentorship is a great way to make better progress towards your career goals.
LGBT+ Leaders is a network of people within our Party that are committed to nurturing future talent all whilst being understanding of the barriers LGBT+ people face in politics. Lots of MPs are already signed up, but all roles are represented from Association officers to Lords. The best part is, as an LGBT+ Conservative member, it is completely FREE.
