From Dehenna Davison shaking it off, to Elliot Colburn talking about his experience as an LGBT+ candidate, we had a busy weekend.
On Saturday evening we discussed why LGBT+ representation is important and how, because of our identity, our community faces specific set-backs. To remove the barriers preventing our members getting their voice heard we are incredibly excited to launch LGBT+
Leaders.
LGBT+ Leaders is a mentoring scheme, helping LGBT+ Conservatives learn from leading political figures. It is run on the PushFar platform which helps you find the right mentoring match, set and monitor goals, schedule meetings and monitor progress.
We have a whole range of mentors to help you find someone best suited to promote your development – they include many MP’s, but also Lords, Councillors, GLA members, Association Chairmen and Mayors. For some ideas of mentors take a peek at our conference social media.
Signing up is easy, it takes 2 minutes and can be done at https://www.pushfar.com/employee-register/LbVpgiCEL9/. If you feel you have something to offer others, you can also sign up as a mentee and mentor.
