London's Pride event is being organized by a new team, following a tender of the major grant the event receives from Conversvative London Mayor Boris Johnson. LGBTory Vice-Chairman Colm Howard-Lloyd sits on the event's Community Advisory Board and provides input from campaigning and political groups.
Following is the latest news from London LGBT+ Community Pride.
LGBTory are supporting the new organisers of Pride in London. The organization of pride events is a huge undertaking and if you check out their website you will see that there’s a fantastic range of things to do around the big day itself, 29 June. So now that the sun is finally shining and summer seems to have arrived, it’s time for us all to start planning what we are going to do at Pride.
You can get tickets to party at Summer Rites Pride in the Park or for Clare Balding and Martina Navratilova on stage; There are also special tickets available to the Book of Mormon and every ticket bought helps secure Pride's future. Come and watch the Parade on 29 June and soak up the fun in Trafalgar Square or enjoy the many free events that are part of the festival.
You can find details of how to join LGBTory on the parade in our events section, along with details of our post-parade reception.
