Margot has been MP for Stourbridge and an LGBTory Patron since 2010. Born and raised in Coventry, Margot started work for Maurice James Industries (MJI) - a haulage business started by her father in the 1930s - where she gained valuable experience working with businesses across the West Midlands. Margot built up her own successful business career, setting up her own company, Shire Health.
Margot is Parliamentary Private Secretary to William Hague, Leader of the House of Commons. She was previously PPS to Lord Livingston, Minister for Trade and Investment, and his predecessor Lord Green.
